Safety Tips

Ski resorts can be overwhelming, especially for families. Location sharing makes it easier to reconnect after runs and ensure everyone is safe.

Before You Hit the Slopes

  • Make sure everyone has the Trixy360 app installed and location sharing enabled
  • Charge all phones fully—cold weather drains batteries faster
  • Pack portable chargers in waterproof cases
  • Set up a geofence around the lodge or meeting point

Designate Meeting Points

Choose specific locations for regrouping: the base of a particular lift, a specific restaurant, or a landmark. Save these as locations in your app.

When to Check Location

  • After each run if skiing at different skill levels
  • If someone is late to a meeting point
  • During lunch to coordinate timing
  • At the end of the day before heading to the car

Cold Weather Tips

Keep phones in inner pockets close to your body—cold batteries don't last as long. Consider using a waterproof phone case to protect against snow and moisture.

The SOS Feature

Make sure everyone knows how to use the SOS button. In case of an injury on the slopes, one tap alerts your family and shares your exact location.
